What a windy Saturday morning.
She was in front of her laptop browsing for a work from home jobs while watching her just turned-one-year-old-baby-girl sleeping. She turned on the music box in the hope that her baby will have a soundly sleep so she can do some errands.
She ate breakfast and started to clean the rented room afterwards. She was sweeping the floor when her phone rang. It was from anonymous caller. "Hello?", she greeted the caller. "Hello, I am looking for Kisses Andretch, please? This is Thelma from Bright Smile Holdings", the caller's introduction. "I am Kisses Andretch. How may I help you, Thelma?", she seemed curios that time. "Hi there. I saw your profile on Indeed and found it perfectly fit for our open position of Procurement Manager. Are you open for an opportunity or you're currently engaged with another company?", Thelma asked.
It was the start of "something good" for Kisses and her baby. Good because she was and is until now able to buy her baby's necessities. Unlike before that she needed to borrow money even a penny from her relatives and friends just to buy baby Star's milk and diapers. She remembered she walked 12 kilometers while carrying Star because she can't even afford the fare going the center for free baby vaccination. Or sometimes she had a little amount but she will instead save it for other emergency purposes.
She is the Procurement Manager of one of the prestigious corporation in Asia. And having that said, she was able and continue to saved something for Star's future.
She and Star lives the life close to what she dreamed for her. Until...
